Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How do I reset the password for my Prolite DVR or NVR?

You can reset your DVR/NVR admin password via the gCMOB app by scanning the QR code on the login screen, answering your registered security questions, or generating a one-time dynamic super password through our authorized technical helpline at 1800-102-0555.

What is the difference between H.264 and H.265+ compression?

H.265+ (High-Efficiency Video Coding) utilizes intelligent background predictive coding to reduce storage space and network streaming bandwidth consumption by up to 70% compared to standard H.264, allowing a 1TB hard drive to retain more than double the recording duration.

Can ezyKam+ cameras work without an internet connection?

Yes. Once configured, ezyKam+ cameras will continuously record all video footage onto the onboard MicroSD card even if internet connectivity drops. An active Wi-Fi connection is only required when live streaming or receiving instant push alerts remotely.
